Online Exam Guide | Screen Sharing for Mac Book Users

If you are a Mac Book User, and are having difficulty sharing your screen, please follow the steps mentioned below to help you sort out this issue.

01) Select the Apple menu (in the upper left corner of the screen). Choose System Preferences.

02) Select Security & Privacy

03) You may need to unlock it before you change settings. Select the lock, then a message and a prompt will display. Sign in, either with TouchID or with your system administrator account name and password.

04) Make sure the Privacy button is selected (from the tab across the top of the options), then scroll down and select Screen Recording (from the left menu). In the box to the right, scroll until Chrome is displayed, then select the box to allow screen sharing.

05) If Chrome is open, you may be notified that the setting will be applied only after Chrome quits. Choose Quit & Reopen.

If the above steps do not work, you can use the video below to check another setting to see if this resolves your issue.

Note that if Remote Management is selected in the above list, deselect it as it competes with the Screen Sharing.
