How to apply for your CSCS Green Card?
If you are looking to work on construction sites and projects in the UK, you need to meet the following 2 requirements:
  1. Level 1 Health and Safety Course (RQF) Qualification
  2. CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test for Operatives
By completing the above, you can apply for your CSCS Green Card. 
Level 1 Health and Safety Course (RQF) Qualification (L1HSCE)
This is a 1-Day course involving training (online or classroom) followed by a regulated exam. After passing your exam, you will receive an RQF Certificate from an Approved Awarding Body.
  1. Complete your (online or classroom) training & sit for an hour-long exam
  2. Score 80% to pass the MCQ exam (32/40)
  3. This qualification is valid for life

CITB Health & Safety Test for Operatives (CITB H&S Test)
This test gives assurance to employers that their workforce can work safely at work. 
  1. This test is conducted at the closest Pearson Vue Testing center to you
  2. This is a 45-minute-long test
  3. Score 90% to pass the MCQ test (45/50)
  4. The results are valid for 2 years

CSCS Green Card
The CSCS Green Card (Labourer Card) allows you to work at entry-level positions on the construction site. You may also require this if you are visiting construction sites and projects.
  1. To apply for your CSCS Card, you will need your L1HSCE certificate & your CITB pass results
